Temex Ceramics part of Exxelia

Supported by our main shareholder LBO France, Exxelia Group (Eurofarad, Firadec, Sic-Safco, Astema, Microspire and Dearborn Electronics) has acquired the French company, Temex Ceramics.

Temex Ceramics, located in Bordeaux area in France, designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of RF and microwave passive components designed for applications in most leading professional markets: Radiocommunication, Medical, Industrial and Space industries.

Dearborn Receives Raytheon 5 Star Supplier Excellence Award 2011

Dearborn Electronics Inc. strives to ensure timely delivery and to exceed our customer’s quality needs. Raytheon recognizes those companies that demonstrate excellence in delivery and quality of their supplied parts. Raytheon awards 3 stars for delivery and quality better than 90%, 4 stars for better than 95% and 5 stars for better than 98%. Additional criteria includes “overall quality, on-time delivery, and demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement”.

Over 200 suppliers received the 3 and 4-star awards and only 21 received the 5-star awards. Dearborn Electronics was one of the 21 suppliers to receive the 5-star award. Only the 5 star award recipients were congratulated personally by the Raytheon president Dr. Tom Kennedy.

Dearborn Electronics, located in Longwood, FL is a manufacturer of passive components including but not limited to film capacitors and ceramic EMI/RFI filters. Major markets include aerospace and defense, with 30+ military qualified parts. Dearborn is part of the Exxelia group, headquartered in Paris, France. The Exxelia Group Partially Acquires Temex Ceramic

The Exxelia Group partially acquired Temex Ceramic signed an agreement to soon acquire all remaining shares. Temex Ceramics will strengthen Exxelia’s product range, especially in ceramic capacitors. Dearborn Electronics, Inc. and the Exxelia Group are pleased to announce that Dearborn Electronics has joined the Exxelia family of companies as of October 6, 2011. This acquisition will strengthen Dearborn’s position in the field of film capacitor design and manufacturing by adding Exxelia’s products to Dearborn’s current line of products and services.         Dearborn is excited about the partnership, and looks forward to continuing to supply its customers with outstanding products and services from our Longwood, Florida facility.

Dearborn Electronics, Inc. is a capacitor manufacturer of paper capacitors, film capacitors, high voltage capacitors, ceramic EMI filters, custom electronics and other allied components for the aerospace, defense, power electronics and other electronics industries. The Exxelia Group concentrates its activities on the design and manufacture of customized high technology products: capacitors, filters, precision mechanics, precision potentiometers, slip rings and wound magnetic components (transformers, inductors, sensors). Dearborn was founded in 1992 by Mr. Jim Sherry.
